Orphan Justice Mission

OJM seeks to establish strategic partnerships with various individuals, churches and groups to care for orphans. We have organized these partnerships into three basic areas: Direct Care Partners, Remote Care Partners and Specialist Agencies. Direct Care Partners (DCPs)

DCPs are the individuals and organizations in direct contact with orphans. They are composed of community members and oversee the care of the children and implement development projects. OJM may work with an indigenous church to create an official organization, which we then make an official agreement with called a Memorandum of Understanding. This local organization spearheads the strategic planning for the community and is responsible for accomplishing and reporting on the various projects supported and funded by OJM. The organization is divided into sub-committees, which oversee the different areas of development and care: Business, Education, Family, Health and Spirituality. Remote Care Partners (RCPs)

RCPs are the individuals and organizations (mostly churches) who support the work of one or more DCPs. A remote care partner makes relational connections to its DCP through a PenPal Program, visits, video exchanges, etc., and commits to regular financial support, awareness raising, and project fundraising. They commit to moving beyond short-term, "drive-by" missions and into a more serious, long-term change approach. Select a RCP below to visit its website and get more info about its ministry:

Specialist Agencies

Specialist Agencies assist OJM in bringing expertise to various partnership elements and development projects. These groups or non-profits may focus in a particular area like business or medical care. They are in agreement with OJM's core values and seek to build capacity and help DCP's accomplish their goals in a sustainable, dignified manner. OJM is currently in talks with several Specialist Agencies, but no formal partnerships exist. As these partnerships are solidified, we will update them here.
